So I'm basically wanting to explore a world where vore is a common phenomenon. The prey would always end up being absorbed by the pred, but not just converted into fat or whatever as a result. When a pred absorbs a prey they become part of the pred and this is indicated by a vore tattoo. It can be the preys handprint or face or just something that represents them like a colorful star or a butterfly. The main point is voring someone will make them part of you and they'll remain sentient as that part of you and a tattoo on that part of the body will show that a prey is in there.

I wanted to play around with this in an RP where preds can get prey to increase their bodies in various ways. Things like a woman stuffing her tits with prey to make them bigger or a guy cock voring prey to get bigger balls and a bigger dick. A girl could unbirth a prey to become a futa if they're a lesbian trying to have a baby with her partner or a guy could tit vore a prey to get milkers to breast feed with. There are a lot of possibilities I'm wanting to play with here.

Finally, reformation will be a thing as well here for all kinds of vore. A pred can keep a prey in them indefinitely, but the prey will never die or just fade away. Until the pred releases them they're part of them and will be capable of communicating if they do choose. So if a pred decides to be a dick and keep a prey captive the prey can annoy them endlessly until they're set free.
