Apologies if posts like this have gone by a million times. I was hoping to find some sort of FAQs but apparently not! Or I missed it...

I'm trying to upgrade from casual streamer to (at least semi-) professional voice actress with a few jobs lined offering scope for many more.

With that in mind I need to upgrade by recording set up majorly!

I currently have a Blue Yeti mic but reckon a bit more investment could get me something superior. It'll be primarily for spoken word but potentially also for singing. No instruments will be recorded.

I'm also wondering if anybody has any tips for how to bodge a home studio set up without access to a dedicated space.

Honestly any advice that could be given would be more than welcome!

My budget to play with currently is about £1000.
