Hi everyone, I contacted VM via chat as my contract is due to expire in the 1st week of Jan. Over an hour of back and forth on the chat and some ridiculous offers provided.
I rejected them all and was explicitly clear that I would like to give notice to cancel when my contract expires. This was confirmed. Fast forward to the following morning, I receive an email informing me of a disconnection in 30 days on the 11th December.
Absolutely appalling service and I now have to go back through the pain of getting this corrected to ensure I’m not charged an early termination fee.
I’ve been with Virgin for over 10 years and do the dance every 18 months. I’m thankful that we have just had YouFibre installed in our area and will go through with the switch. Only way to get these people to change is vote with your pocket!
