In order to feed the people we create welfare, $500,000 will be invested into feeding the people until the economic crisis has passed. Once the economic crisis passes the money spent on it will decrease by 100,000 a month until it reaches 100,000.

We also pass the 5-acre law. This states that no one person or family may own more than five acres of land. This land is to be given to the impoverished, they must approach governmental offices with proof of identity and will be given one acre of land to farm.

Venice also orders a census to be distributed to the people of the Serene Republic.

Edit: We also appoint elected positions as Premiers, and then Mandatarios underneath them. They are responsible for tax collection as well as making sure that the rule of law is upheld within our republic.

Edit 2: We issue a law saying that all families with a surplus of over $80,000 must give up wealth until they reach $80,000. This is to ease the economic stress and they will be compensated in the future.

We also issue a progressive tax rate, 2% for everyone, over 60,000 3%, going on until it reaches a max of 10%. This is to free us from the woes our previous leaders have forces us into.
