Never did I think I would make it.. for 15 years I told myself I was undeserving & avoided the VA completely. A buddy finally convinced me to file in 2020. Doing everything myself it took a few tries, but with the help of this group I was able to find my way through. It’s bittersweet as I am thankful for the benefits, but I’d give it all up to have my body & mind back. But now I can rest, enjoy my family & continue to help other Vets on their journeys. Thanks again to all!
