At the risk of creating a painfully uninteresting post, I just wanted to say how much I love this podcast. For years and years Tamler and David have enriched my life with everything from conceptual analysis to content to commentary to criticism, and that's without leaving the C's. I just finished the most recent episode, 261: Death of the Author, and just fucking loved it so much. My affinity for these dudes is borderline bizarre. Which, maybe leads me to the only interesting, half-baked idea of this post. Modern parasocial relationships are an interesting phenomenon. I'd love to peek into the literature on the psychological and cognitive implications of these very recent one-way relationships. Might even be a worthy intro topic (🤞). I'd love to hear others' thoughts and follow any links you guys have on the topic. 🤜🐵
