Looking for a solution to convert a 720p SDI feed to ethernet, then back at the other end.
Details - I have two rooms seperated by an outdoor space at the top of a press box. I have to set up our broadcast equipment in one room but have connections in the other. I had asked for a connecting conduit, but it's been stalled for months. I noticed in the room I need my cables to reach has the other end of the ports that is connected to all Ethernet ports on that level, so I thought I'd try using that. Most options I've seen specify it's an IP connection, and I'm questioning if that's what I need since it's just a direct cable connection and no network.
