I'm currently paid at 70%.

70% MH rating, and 10% tinnitus rating.

I put in for unemployability based on the 70% rating, but also had another C&P for an increase on mental health a couple weeks ago and it is still in Evidence Gathering Stage. She basically told me she was going to do what she could to get me to 100% but obviously there is no concrete answer yet.

I have an open case with VR&E to go back to school, and wish to do so in the near future.

My main question is should I wait to see what the MH C&P results are or follow through with the forms the VA sent me to continue on with unemployability?

I want to work in the future, so if I follow through and they give me unemployability, can I retract that at some point and go back to work without penalty?
