Hello, I have a couple of questions re encrypting one flash drive, to password protect the whole drive regardless if it's plugged into macOS, Windows 10 or 11, iPhone or Android. Is there software which encrypts all? I've seen something called Veracrypt but on macOS it's looking for something else at installation called FUSET or OSX-FUSE which I've never heard of before either but unsure of them.
The other question I had was - assuming encryption solution is different for macOS and Windows, would I still be able to access the same hierarchy of files? eg "DRIVE > documents > personal files" or would there be a slightly different architecture for the file paths?
Are there any other solutions? I imagine it's a common requirement so would be good to hear some solutions if anyone has any.
