I took MAT135 this fall semester which is required for my program (economics). With the extended CR/NCR deadline, I was wondering if it's possible to CR/NCR the course and still be admitted into a program requiring it, given I have already satisfied the program admission requirement prerequisite in form of high school credit. I got a 7 in IB higher level math A/I which is equivalent to mat135 and counts for program requirement purposes
Does this mean I can CR/NCR the course and still get into my program? Or does taking the course overrule any credits I had from before
Edit for anyone who’s interested, this is what they said:
“Hello jakk_22,
If you CR MAT135H1, we will use your transfer credit of MAT1**(135) to fulfill the entry and program requirements; however, you are still required to take MAT136H1 and obtain a minimum grade of 60% to qualify for entry into a economics major or minor.
I hope this clarifies, “
