Can someone give me advice on my palette and explain my tastes of beer?

Apologies if this sounds odd, but I have tried numerous different types of beer and found a dislike to many. I was hoping people could explain this or perhaps suggest types I would like?

So far I've only found to like lagers.

I find that types such as; pale ales, wheat beers, IPA, etc all either taste too bitter or often almost flowery like I'm drinking perfume? - this is especially prevalent in IPA/pale ales.

I've no idea what causes this, or what type to try now that i should like?

Edit - for example I enjoy Estrella

I tend to enjoy sweetish drinks, but I tried a chocolate or caramel infused goblin beer and hated it
