Hi All, apologies if this is a basic question. I am trying to work out details of my salary and am using my p60. On the form there's lots of fields, but the main one I question is: Total salary per year (I can see this is before tax as the tax deductions are to the right of it).
My question, does this already factor in my monthly pension contributions (which I see on my payslip being deducted pre tax), or is this just based on salary and no pension contributions and when I submit my tax report, will I need to deduct my yearly pension contributions from this figure?
I dont know if I have done something wrong, however I calculated last year's salary for the tax year (with and without pension contributions) and none of the pre tax numbers matched the total number on my p60, so this didn't help.
