Anyone ever experience anything like this?

I woke up late one night to a noise in my bedroom. I've recently had this happen.

I woke up to a beeping sound...Beep...Beep...Beep! Thought it was a ceiling fan in the room. Which it wasn't. I saw a red light flashing...wasn't the bedside portable phone...battery was dead and it was disconnected. No electronic devices in the room either. Also there was a bright, white light that filled the room, seemed to be centered on my chest. I went back to sleep, woke up later. Nothing was happening, no lights, no beeping!

Was really a strange night.
