Advice on growing on Twitch

Ok I been streaming on twitch about a month and a half now and was wondering what do I do to get my views up. I promote on twitter and discord and as of now averaging around 2.2 viewers per stream with 71 followers. I made a mistake and the earlier part of streaming by listening to YouTube videos saying stream and people will come. Any advice as to grow a community and viewership on twitch?
