Chef and paring are 5 layers, nakiri 4, so that the core gets to the right place, it has an asymmetric grind. Layers are soft steel-Bohler k600-115CrV3-k600-soft steel. Though not visible because of the cladding, but differential hardened. Do not be alarmed about the chefknife, the K600 does not run out all the way to the secondary bevel edge, I checked with an etch :) handles are bubinga and zebrawood with copper
i like the exposed layers, looks great. low layer dammy is a fave effect of mine.
overall construction looks nice.
