Hi everyone, so I just started playing and I love this game, but as a total newbie to MMO's I'm a bit confused as to how to build a solid DPS build. When I selected my weapons, I opted for a AR/Ele setup, focusing on AR. However, after playing with a few Elemental powers, I decided to focus on Ele. I'm having a hard time finding an Ele/AR build that looks good. Frankly, most of the advice I've seen on forums and such is hard to decipher. My question is this: since I want to focus mostly on Elementalism and DPS, should I abandon Rifle in favor of something like Blood or Pistols? I've only invested in the first tier for AR, if that helps. Right now, I'm equipped with mostly QL2 and QL3 gear, and I'm still in Kingsmouth. I've forayed a bit into Savage Coast and am getting my ass served to me. I know people post this kind of "total n00b plz halp" stuff all the time, but any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also, I'd like to find a cabal that is RP heavy and friendly to newcomers, so any guidance in that realm would help a great deal as well. Thanks so much :)
