I have one question that I've never been able to answer, so I'm throwing it out here - how exactly are wounds healed by recovery potions from the item shop?

Some of them being you back from the verge of death, but haven't been able to heal the numerous and frequently described scars on Joonghyuk's body?

If recovery items don't take away scars, then Dokja is definitely the ugliest king because of all the scars over his face from burning alive, getting disemboweled, eaten alive, skewered etc. etc (also, how are Dokja's long eyelashes intact?? Apparently after serious damage they never grow back even after the body heals naturally, like a permanent scar never fades (just Dokja things I suppose))
