Hey everyone!
So as you may have seen from Cheese' post, we're trying to make using the Earth Kingdom roadways easier. And while there's lots of other stuff to do, one of the things I wanted to be done was implement a naming system of the roadways so we don't have to ambiguously say "take the highway." So here is a draft I made of my suggestions for the roadway systems that I hope make giving directions more clear while keeping the history and culture alive.
In advance, sorry everything is so small. I'll update it later :3
Map 1 is a historical map. It states which town/city built each section of the highway and labels nearby towns.
Map 2 is the draft map with the names I've come up for the Earth Kingdom highways. Basically, I've divided them into three main highway systems consisting of main roads and branches into towns. One thing I forgot to mention was if we should keep the name of "Turtleduck Trail" in the Upper Continental Highway. It would still be called Turtleduck Trail, but it would be part of the Upper Continental Highway system now. Or if we should just do away with the name and call it the UCH. Also, most of the side roads need fancier names, so PLEASE SUGGEST SOMETHING
Again, my main goal here was to make direction-giving for new comers a lot easier but be mindful of the history.
Please: if you have any changes, like my suggestions, or despise them, let me know. This is supposed to be a group effort, something the players should be proud of making.
EDIT: I should also mention I've started changing the names on the signs to this system already, but this can be easily changed back.
Thank you guys!
