Since we haven't gotten a book about him we can only speculate. I also haven't read the books so if it's mentioned in them I wouldn't know. I think their relationship would definitely have it's ups and downs. He would understand why she had to focus so much on the real world and neglect the spirit world. On the other hand there would definitely be tension since her negligence caused him not only an early grave, but the people considered him a slacker when he was really cleaning up her mess. But I definitely think he came to her when he needed a shoulder to cry on.
