So first of all you shouldn’t feel pressured to put one on girlies if you’re scared. If you’re ready then go ahead and get your self a tampon. The ones I’d recommend are the baseball shaped one as they are made of latex and other things that allow you to easily insert a tampon in. If you don’t know which hole your tampon should go in (fun fact we have 3 holes down there) you can grab a small mirror and look down there. It’s not a shameful thing to want to know your own body. If you’re in the washroom one thing you can do to help insert the tampon in is take one of your legs put it on the sink to help stretch open your vagina ever so slightly, it’ll help you navigate where to put it in. Breathe in and out don’t stress over it. Now insert it in! Congrats you’ve done it girl! Remember it should not hurt if it does I don’t recommend forcing yourself to do so. If you have heavy flows you can try thicker tampons your choice. Don’t be ashamed if you can’t use a tampon even if you’re 13 or 30 it doesn’t matter it is completely ok to be uncomfortable using a tampon. Remember your body your choice!!
