I'm really enjoying the new album and shift in musical direction, but there's only thing that's occurred to me after a few listens.
I think the concept of introducing each ring and the people that inhabit it would suit a more diverse soundtrack. Each ring could be paired with a style of music in the same way The Colour Spectrum paired different styles with different colours. There are some cool examples of this within the Acts as well. Good times for Hunter = disco (King of Swords) whereas emotional confessions = acoustic (Light). I feel like it would have been cool to hear different genres or styles represent the difference between the people living in poverty and the guides living in luxury.
I was wondering if there has been any mention from the band about why this style of music was chosen for this album?
