My girlfriend and I are flying to BKK from 04.10.19 to 21.10.19. We are mainly looking to chill, scuba dive and do some hiking/sightseeing, parties and nightlife don't interest us that much. We consulted with a travel guide from where we come from and he suggested doing Phangan(4 nights) -> Tao(3 nights) -> Samui(6 nights) -> Bangkok(2 nights).

I snooped around this sub as much as I can and gathered that Ko Lanta seems to suit us better. I've also read that Phuket is too touristic, and Phi Phi is for parties.

Also, we're not sure whether we should bring suitcases or big backpacks.

We'd really appreciate some help, thanks :)
