Are there any teachers here who wished they quit their first year?
Post Body

This is my first year teaching. I could write a book on everything that has drove me to this point, but I believe the stress of this job has made me physically ill. I don’t know if I’ll be renewed at this point. At this point it is what it is, but I also feel a sense of shame for not trying harder. This is only my first year, but I just know I can’t do this job the rest of my life. I wasted all that time and money in school just for this to happen. Is there anyone here who just wished they took that plunge and quit early in or anyone who did it? What’s your story?
