Post Body

I have had double vision since contracting Covid in February so I try not to drive if it can be avoided. I placed an order with a well-known personal shopping website and there were only six items so I chose the market closest to my home and placed my order. The website advised the order would arrive between 230pm and 510pm. At about 3pm I got a message asking for clarification of my address. (This has never been an issue before). I texted the shopper through the app and provided my address. About 20 minutes later I got a call from their customer support that the shopper was over an hour away from my home. He couldn’t complete the service so the customer service representative said they were sorry and would find me a shopper closer to my home and that the order might arrive a bit later. So okay that should work. Another 1/2 hour passes and I start getting calls again. It turns out they reassigned my order to a shopper all the way across town and it was rush hour. The shopper clearly didn’t want to make the trek. The agent said he would sort it out. His answer; cancel the order and charge me a $15.00 kill fee! Ludicrous! So, I missed out dinner last night and had to go to the grocery at 6am to pick up coffee and my other items. I’m going to be calling them to remove the fee they are trying to charge me for the mistakes they made.
