Hinting at you being a swinger in a vanilla setting?
Post Body

Short background - my wife and I are knew to the LS. She was at a work dinner recently with a guy (just the two of them). He's a customer and she's in sales so something she has to do occasionally. He had a made a comment or two previously that she acknowledged was clearly an attempt at flirting and then he suggests they meet for "a drink" at a local "brestaurant" (similar to Hooters). He's not from the US so she's unsure if he really knew what type of restaurant it was. He's a bit socially awkward it appears.

So a drink turns into "let's order some food", as you'd expect. During the dinner, the conversation turns from professional to the guy asking if she likes to go dancing, if she's ever been to a restaurant like this one, if she's ever been to a strip club, etc. He then asks, "have you heard of this swinging thing?" It caught my wife off guard. She off course plays dumb. He tries to play off like "I've heard of them but not really sure what goes on there". She changes the subject. As they are ending the dinner, he suggests they should get together again and maybe check out a swingers club.

She's trying to decide if its possible this guy found her on one of the LS sites (we do a pretty good job of restricting our profile to only paid subscribers and obscuring faces. I'm doubtful and think she's just being paranoid.

Does anyone have any instances where they got called out in a vanilla setting? Just curious how it happened and how you responded.
