We got into the lifestyle about three months ago. We live in Florida and while we were not in the direct path of Hurricane Helene, we had some bad weather. Tonight we had several lifestyle friends check on us and send text messages, some we played with and some we have not. But we had zero vanilla friends check on us.
I know some people ‘worry’ about their privacy or getting too close to others. We have found great friends from all over the US and some close to home. (And they are all so different and from different ethnicities, backgrounds, and beliefs, but all wonderful humans)

I guess I just felt cared for in the simple gesture of texts from others reaching out to us. It really makes me so thankful for (finally!) making the plunge after two years of discussing it. Anyway, I just wanted to share a happy thing in the LS- caring people, good friends. 🫶🏼
