My boyfriend and I have been together forever, basically and we have kids. We recently met another couple around our age, with kids that are about two hours away.

We have talked to them multiple times a week on a video chat for the past few months, and we finally went to their home two weeks ago, and they visited our home last Sunday. We played with them both times.

My boyfriend and I live in the country, and we don't have a lot of friends, swinger or non. We feel like we have a very strong relationship with this couple around our age, and we all share very similar values. We like the idea of being friends with them, and also swinging, and having that open lifestyle with another couple. Their kids are also around the same age as ours, so that is another benefit we both see in this. Ideally we would all be spending a lot of time together, hanging out on our property together, and having a close relationship with this other couple.

Has anyone ever had this friendship dynamic along with swinging? I know it's probably not a great idea for friendship amongst the kids since this could go sideways and now we have kids that are friends, but this couple seems to be extremely genuine and kind.
