Pineapple Knowledge?

I was at a work function recently and somehow pineapples came up and a few of my coworkers mentioned that pineapples represented swinging. My question is, why do you think someone knows that information?

I did listen to a conversation lately at work, where the topic was a hotwife couple two of my coworkers know from a sport association. Then my brother in law told us, he had watched a documentary about it. I think people know lots of this stuff, because netflix and co do make these documentaries, but actually never would try anything.
Btw both coworkers said, thei would have sex with her, but wouldn't let him watch. Would cause them to have performance anxiety.
