Post Body

Hi guys, I am looking for a new laptop since the one I own is old and a bit laggy

LAPTOP QUESTIONNAIRE

*Total budget (in local currency) and country of purchase. Please do not use USD unless purchasing in the US:

500-800 €, Italy

*Are you open to refurbs/used?

New is better

*How would you prioritize form factor (ultrabook, 2-in-1, etc.), build quality, performance, and battery life?

I think performance is my number one priority then battery life, buil quality and for last form factor

*How important is weight and thinness to you?

Thinnes not much but it needs to be lighter than 1.8kg

*Do you have a preferred screen size?

14-15.6

*Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming?

Yes, I use solidworks and lightroom for some photo editing

*If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want?

N/A

*Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)?

The display has to be good since I do photo editing, colours need to be reliable,

*Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion.

I am thinking if it would be a good idea to buy a laptop with upgradable ram and SSD, more or less every laptop I saw has upgradable SSD but not everyone has upgradable ram, maybe it would be a good option for durability to have upgradable ram
