How difficult is it to be a sub?

So recently I planned on trying my luck to find a domme again but I’m nervous about it. I’m worried that I don’t have it in me to surrender myself to another person. I know that I don’t have to submit until I’m comfortable doing so. It’s just I’m so use to operating on my own and going by my own rules. I’m worried that having to follow someone else’s rules is going to be an overwhelming change for me and will be too much for me.

So what I want to know is, how difficult is it to be a sub? Does it get easier over time?

Please feel free to share any advice, input, personal stories, etc. I would appreciate it a lot.
