Dumb question about MicroSD cards

So I ordered a 256gb Deck which is good and all but of course being a pc I need more
I don't want to add a bigger SSD and I'd rather just use a MicroSD card but I was wonder,
could you mix different cards? Like have Red Dead installed on one, pull it out then put a new one in for COD?
I'm wondering cause I could get at least get 2 256 cards for less then 1 512.
