Performance issues with Baldurs Gate 3

I recently got Baldurs Gate 3 on my deck because I was having trouble getting it to work on my PC and I heard it was verified on deck. But when I play the game I experience very sub-par performance (FPS common dropping to 25 and even sometimes 20 while on low settings) but I've also seen that there is a VERY noticeable input delay for everything I do, as showcased in the attached.

Is this common for BG3 players on Deck? This game basically doesn't function on my PC so I was really hoping to get it working on deck but I'm not sure if I can put up with this performance.
