Post-Community Center quest trigger?

Hi! So I'm on Spring 4th year, and I've finished the community center quest for a while now but the quest for the Movie Theater (then Joja Mart) still hasn't been triggered. I transferred my mobile save to my PC after the 1.4 update, and resumed at the beginning of Year 3 Winter. All other new stuff seems to work well, except for the one I mentioned.

Is anyone else experiencing this as well? Does anyone know how I can trigger it?

Update: there's been 2 thunderstorms so far and none has triggered the cutscene. I'm on Summer Day 10.
