Using the ion launcher on an already vulnerable MTT or walker?

Post Body
I just have a quick question regarding the ion launchers in the maps where there's an MTT or walker to bring down. If someone has hit them with an ion launcher and they're already vulnerable, would it be a bit of a waste to hit it with another ion launcher during that period? Does it extend the vulnerability time or is it just taken as another attack? Thanks!

Yeah I agree that having the time extend could lead to cheesing, but it should definitely inflict a good chunk of damage. In all the time I've been playing, I've literally still never seen both MTTs / walkers brought down in Kashyyyk, Crait or Hoth, and only once I've seen the MTT brought down in Naboo. Although part of that is definitely that lots of players don't seem to play the objectives, they're just trying to rack up kills.
