This is for a flight I haven’t booked and may not book but I’m more curious than anything if it could be done. I am ALP almost always A17-A30. I could just be a seat saving Chad but that’s no fun and my question doesn’t get answered. 🤣

Looking at a flight from DAL - OGG with stop in PHX. I have a friend in PHX that will join me there. They never fly more then likely will end up with C group.

Can they both be booked at the same time / reservation or do they have to be done separately?

Side note it was funny that the flight for me would be $50 less but that’s how it goes.
