I'm proud to announce r/socalr4r is finally bringing back verifications! You've voiced your concerns, and we're listening. It's not a catch-all solution to the issues this community faces, but we're hoping it's a step in the right direction. We have created r/socalr4rverified for all verification requests and related questions and discussions. The first stickied post over there will give you all of the information you need in order to successfully submit your verification request. The second stickied post has a link to a spreadsheet of all verified users in our sub which the moderators will continue to update. We encourage all members of the community to cross-reference this list when sending/receiving messages to/from other users.

ALL VERIFICATION REQUESTS MUST BE SENT TO THE MODMAIL AT r/SOCALR4RVERIFIED. DO NOT SUBMIT YOUR VERIFICATION REQUEST TO r/SOCALR4R'S MODMAIL. IT WILL NOT BE PROCESSED.

We will begin enforcing verifications in r/socalr4r on December 7, 2020. This means posts from unverified users will no longer be allowed. We hope that the following couple of months will be ample time to get through most of the initial verification requests. However, the timeline is subject to change depending on how things go.
