I was dreading the meeting today with my divorce attorney. He is very expensive and I can only afford him because he’s a friend of a friend and our mutual friend is paying almost all of his fees, but I’ve still only gotten bad news about my prospects of coming out of this divorce financially stable. I’ve been dependent on my partner’s income for the last decade since he’s always made much more than me. The last meeting we had I found out that a lot of the division of assets was going to reflect how much more Terry had invested in them than I had. So my hopes were pretty low when my lawyer told me he wanted to chat about alimony in person.

But the news this time was excellent. It turns out that there are all kinds of income that my spouse had that can be counted towards calculating alimony, and apparently there were also incomes that Terry had been hiding from me that my lawyer uncovered, so I’m looking at receiving close to $4,000 a month in alimony payments for the next 3 years, which for me is a ton of money. It’s actually the difference between potential homelessness and feeling secure in my ability to make choices for my future, maybe even going back to school like I’ve been wanting.

I was so happy I ran around the desk and hugged my lawyer when he told me the news. He hugged me back, which was expected, and then I felt his hand on my butt, which was not expected. I had a split second to decide what to do about it, and my adrenaline was so high I came down on the side of kissing him on the mouth. His other hand reached up my dress.

We didn’t go very far, just some hand stuff, but we both came. As I wiped his cum off my hand he joked (I think) that he’s still going to have to bill me for the last fifteen minutes, and I told him to send the bill to Rob, our mutual friend. I really hope he does.
