I’ve had paralysis many, many times and have only had visual/auditory hallucinations about a quarter of the time. Typically, my episodes consist of me being unable to even open my eyes at all, just trapped inside my body for a few seconds-minutes, trying to move my limbs and staring at nothing because my eyes are squeezed shut. It’s seriously the worst feeling ever. Sometimes I can hear my own vocal chords sputtering out tiny scratchy noises while in my head I’m trying to scream. There’s also this really horrible feeling of being literally trapped INSIDE of my body, like when I try to kick a leg it feels like I’m inside of my own body trying to push my limb over or something. Idk. It’s hard to describe. Usually when I have these episodes I can’t shake myself awake, and instead my mind kind of just falls back into sleep, and then wakes up normally a few minutes later.
I guess my question is A. does anyone else rarely experience any hallucinations but still have paralysis? and B. could me taking melatonin gummies have anything to do with or maybe even be the cause of my paralysis episodes? I’ve noticed I have episodes more frequently when I’ve taken a lot of gummies
