So I recently bought a retinol serum cause I'm 25 and I thought that's just what you're suppose to do.

Today I went to get my eyebrows waxed which is still a pretty new thing to me and she asked if I used retinol. She said it thins the skin and sometimes the skin can lift when they use the wax.

So my question is: how is retinol good for your skin if it thins it?

Thanks in advance!
