But I would definitely watch OG3 all day! In the tell alls/ look backs Kody and Robin were refusing to watch certain footage, barely commented, and generally just sat there scowling.
All we’ve gotten from them are the same narcissistic recycled lies and out of touch viewpoints, and I don’t see this changing. Sure, this makes for interesting content for an episode or two maybe, but it’s old and tired and we’re all sick of the denial and lack of accountability from both.
Meri, Janelle and Christine are all interesting to watch because I think that we are really seeing them empowered in the aftermath of their marriages and there’s very evident self-growth on the case of all three of them from different levels. Unlike K&R, seeing them actually break free from a marriage that at best could be called bad and seeing the evolution of them working on themselves is inspiring. I don’t know how many of you have been divorced at an older age but it is hard to leave a failing marriage and start over again, and I don’t think there’s a lot of representation of the process of starting over at a later age portrayed well and realistically on TV. I think the OG3 send a message of hope for women that it’s never too later to start over and that the best way women can respect themselves is to honor that and not stay in a toxic situation.
I know I have no interest in K&R continually pissing and moaning especially with the damage they’ve done to the OG3’s kids, and really there’s no substance to them as a couple beyond the apparent narcissism. But I’m there to watch Meri, Janelle and Christine continue their journeys (should they opt to publicly continue them) because it’s an inspiration and I truly view them as a brave.
