This may be insignificant, but it’s been bugging the heck out of me since the first tell all episode. When we hear that Janelle was out of town with Christine while Kody had covid, within a few minutes we get three totally different stories from three people describing what is supposed to be the same event:

Kody: Janelle was on vacation and didn’t care at all when I told her I was at death’s door. Zero empathy, total betrayal.

Janelle: Kody freaked me out and I called his doctor, but eventually Kody told me not to come home because I couldn’t come over to the house anyway and there was nothing I could do, so I decided to stay on vacation.

Christine: Kody called and told Janelle that she had to come home. She was going to go, but I told her not to go because she’d only be able to buy things and drop them off on his porch, plus, he didn’t care for Janelle when she had covid first.

Maybe I’m making a mountain out of a prairie dog poophill, but it just strikes me as so strange that we can’t get even two out of three stories to agree about a simple fact pattern. Nuts.

Edit to add: I wish I’d been much clearer that Kody describing this as a “near death experience” is a complete fabrication made of twice distilled, high octane Kody Brown bullshit. I’m certain that his temp never got above a “whopping” 99.8 degrees because if he’d ever had the chance to show a 100 temperature to the camera he absolutely would have.

It rang so true when Christine pointed out that, throughout their 26 years of marriage, every time he got sick the entire universe had to revolve around his illness.

That he both refused the vaccine and then completely lied about how sick his was is an insult to all the people who suffered and died from covid, and to all the medical professionals who put themselves in harm’s way to care for them.
