Oil leak
Post Body

So I bought a 2023 1500 2.7l about 6 months go. Just took it in for her first oil change, service tech comes back and tells me there is a small oil leak somewhere around the top of the oil pan(not actually at the top of the oil pan). It appears to be around a bolt but they have to do some type of dye test is what I’m told to find the source. He showed me a photo of it and it’s leaking, it’s not gushing or anything but it’s a leak. I’m curious if something like that is some type of indicator of future issues. It’s obviously going to be fixed under warranty. If they have to tear that shit all apart and put it back together it’s got me feeling a bit worried. Has anyone has an issue like that and how did it work out for you?
