SIB Chivalry 2?

I keep seeing it on youtube and it looks like a lot of fun.but then again, battlefield also looked like a lot of fun then it turned out it would just be slowly running around looking for enemies and then getting sniped from across the map and then having to wait like 2 mins before a respawn. So im having second thoughts about it. Do you know of any like downsides to chivalry 2 that puts you off and made you regret getting it? Or is it as good as it looks?
