RIA VR80 vs Citadel boss 25

I’m having trouble making the decision between these two semiautomatic shotguns. I know they are not the best shotguns to have but I have my good ones and now I’m looking at a fun gun. The Citadel I know is cheaper, and some people love it but some have had trouble. Should I go with the cheaper or spend the extra? Also is the boss 25 a fine weapon my wife could handle or would the vr80 be better for her. Thank you so much for the help y’all, I look forward to hearing the experiences.
