Many of you have been asking us about Velvet and we thought it was high time to let you in on the fun.

Velvet is Barrister & Mann's first foray into products specifically meant for women. The product itself is a shaving soap made using the Latha base, with a fragrance based on licorice, star anise, violet, praline, ivy, iris, and cherry. Beneath this sweet, elegant, feminine perfume are notes of amaryllis, vetiver, and musk to complete the accord and bewitch the senses.

We are also in the process of developing a balm in the same scent, meant to nourish and protect the skin from the ravages of dry air and sharp pieces of metal. The soap will be released first, just in time for Mother's Day, and will be wrapped in beautiful floral tissue paper and shipped in elegant satin bags. The soap will be sold at $10/jar (no price yet on the balm) and will be available May 2nd!
