I'm intent on understanding and defeating my addiction to sexting strangers. In addition to continuing weekly 1-1 therapy with a new therapist who I feel good about, I went through the list of virtual SAA meetings on SAAtalk.info and have settled on one of the SAA Secular Sobriety groups as I'm hoping to minimize any chance of organized religion being forced on me as part of my recovery.
I may just be a fly on the wall at first and listen, but I'm hoping that this mixed group will help me feel less alone as I now begin navigating recovery and the beginning of a divorce from my best friend and partner of nearly 20 years. Half of my life.
