Hey everyone, a male friend asked me to help him with selecting some products - staples, for his daily/nightly routine.

I am pretty good when it comes to selecting products for myself, but we have different skin types and I am not very familiar with Asian skin routine, if there is any difference . I would appreciate any advice on what to get and where to start, this is his stats:

  • mid 20s, working outdoors most of the days;
  • oily skin with minor pigmentation on cheeks from the sun and pimples;
  • blackheads and minor pimples on the nose and cheeks (it’s not hormonal but rather due to the lack of cleansing);
  • early forehead wrinkles.

In the past, he used Witch Hazel as a toner for a while, he would put body lotion on his face, and use CeraVe as a cleanser every now and then.

We are looking into getting him at least the basics: - SPF with no cast; - Moisturizer; - Cleansing balm; - Vitamin C, etc.

The budget is low/moderate, so Tatcha or La Mer would be out of the question πŸ˜…

Thank you~
