Has anyone ever taken two shots of semaglutide within two-three days?

I take my weekly shot on Saturday and thought I could stay at a lower dose and feel fine. Big mistake! I was supposed to take 40 units but I took 30 instead. So I’m basically trying to get that extra 10 units in. But I don’t know if it’s okay to take another 5 units today since I took 5 units yesterday…. ? I’m trying to get the extra 10 units in so I’ll feel better but I don’t know if you can do that or not. I asked my doctor and he said he doesn’t know of anyone having any bad reactions to doing so but he also didn’t tell me do it. He said do whatever you feel is right.

I’m pre-diabetic and I can tell when I don’t take enough because my ankles and feet swell and my face gets hot. This has only ever happened one other time when I didn’t take enough.

Do you think it’s okay to inject another 5 units today or tomorrow? Or should I wait until Saturday when I up my dosage since Saturdays are my shot days.

Insurance wouldn’t approve me for anything but some type of pill, metformin. Which is besides the point. It helped some but nothing like the semaglutide. My A1C is the best it’s ever been since being on it and my joints feel much better. It’s also improved my inflammation markers. I have Lupus, Sjögren’s, rheumatoid, and IC. So, not only does semaglutide help with weight loss… it’s lowered my A1C, helping with insulin resistance, & it has helped me tremendously with my rheumatic problems.

Whole point of this post is - I screwed up by not taking the correct dose on Saturday and my sugar is slightly elevated and I feel it. That’s why I’m asking if anyone else has injected twice within 2-3 days to equal the original dose they were supposed to take in the first place.

(I thought I’d be fine at a lower dose and turns out, I am not! Lesson learned)
