Question: How much of the traffic on gay dating apps is bots vs real people?

Post Body

It feels like the number of profiles on Grindr and Sniffies that reach out with a β€œHey” from a very sparsely populated profile, but with some super hot face picture is growing. There then proceeds to be a very basic discussion followed by either silence, or the account getting deleted. This seems like classic bot behavior designed to drive engagement from those of us suckers paying for the service. Anyone else seeing the same thing? Or is the local gay community really so full of flakes and scared straight guys who run back to their girlfriends after the second question ???
