Hi, I'm moving to Seattle just in time for the High Holy Days and trying to assess my options both for the holidays and more generally. Grew up Reconstructionist and that's still pretty much where I'm at in terms of my preferences for style and substance, but reasonably at home in Reform or more progressive Conservative settings, and also potentially interested in less formal Jewish life that may not be organized around a traditional congregation. Definitely would prefer a place that doesn't place Zionism at the center of their Judaism.
I grew up in a town without a lot of Jews so I'm anticipating Seattle has quite a few more options, and I'd love to get any insight on where I should be looking. Thank you!
edit: THANK YOU everyone! Sounds like my new apartment is not in the most Jewishly convenient place, but I appreciate your suggestions and feel like I've now got some promising starting points for more research!
edit 2: I came across a mention of a place called Eitzor, which seems to be Renewal, which I've never experienced but would be curious about. But their website is dead. Any info if they still exist / where to learn more?
